  • Customizable Space: Our beautiful studio is a blank canvas. Tell us your vision, and we'll transform the space to match your event, whether it's a birthday party, corporate meeting, or family gathering.

  • Flexible Catering: We'll work with you to create a menu that fits your budget. You can choose to have us fully cater the event or provide a partial menu—it's completely up to you.

  • Optional Activities: Want to add some fun for your guests? We offer optional craft activities to keep everyone entertained.

  • Full Bar and Bartenders: We can take care of all the drinks for your party. We provide a full bar and licensed bartenders, so you don't have to worry about a thing.

Located in Merrill, Wisconsin, The Creative Spirit is a fantastic destination for a variety of experiences, from private parties and events to hands-on workshops and unique dining experiences. They offer something for everyone, whether you're a seasoned artist or just looking for a fun night out.

Our Story So Far

This historic building is the home of The Creative Spirit in Merrill, WI.  Built in 1905 and known for many years as the Merrill Monument Company Building.  Lovingly restored by Sharon & Richard Schmidt. 

 

The Creative Spirit was founded on the belief that everyone has a creative spirit within them, waiting to be unleashed.  â€‹Our mission is to provide fun, accessible and affordable education in the arts to the Merrill community and beyond. We take pride in our diverse and engaging course schedule, taught by our talented and passionate artisans.
